Lewis is the founder of Occult and driving force behind the team. His passion for imagery came from His background in rollerblading where he first learned to shoot Photo's & Video.  His passion grow & it gave him more opportunity to skate & shoot. After a few years of ongoing injury's Lewis decided to take a step back from blading and the idea of Occult came to mind,  He turned his full attention to building & growing Occult as a platform to grow and develop from creatively. Lewis can still be found out skating a few times a week and continues to film for local projects in the Scottish blade scene.

Dan Koss

DOP, Editor and Photographer

Dan has one of the best eyes for film and photography in Scotland everything he produces is to the highest quality. He is always pushing to better himself and take his work to the next level. Dan also has a production company baced in the North East of Scotland Northern Collective with good friend of Occult Productions Simon Bell. Dan comes from a background in Rollerblading and this is where he first developed a passion for image when documenting his travels and the goings on in his local scene. This led Dan to study film and take the carer path he is now on. 


Mark Slorach

Drone OP, Sound OP and 2nd AC

Mark is a full licensed drone operator with with a sharp eye for detail, As well as this he studied sound production and he knows the true importance of good sound work in a production. Mark is not only a double but a triple threat with a fantastic eye for photography and film on land as well as in the air.  Mark is probably most comfortable in the air because of his background in rollerblading and his younger years spend in the skate park flying about before ever had his hand's on a drone.

Myles Docherty

First AC, Operator

Myles passion is visual storytelling and from an early age began making his own stop motion films which cultivated his idea of being a filmmaker. Growing up he was transfixed in watching Spielberg movies over and over, fascinated by the craft. Not just interested in making movies, Myles loves the technical detail involved in manipulating the camera to create visual images that captures and draws the viewer in. This led him to pursue and obtain a degree in Digital Filmmaking where he further discovered cinematography to be his passion. He went on to study a Masters in Cinematography at the MetFilm School – London. Myles is currently an Assistant Camera and Operator where he continues to develop his skills. With a recognised creative flair, he has worked with Universal Music UK as a Content Creator producing short form content for various well-known music artists.
